FAQs about the literary contest/magazine

There are a couple steps before a story is selected to win. First, I will look through the stories and put them through a plagiarism checker online. Once a story has been proved original, both my father (who studied journalism all throughout highschool and started hs own business) and myself will look through the stories and decide which three are the best, and they will then be posted on the voting page where users can select the best story in THEIR opinion. It remains anonymous until a winner has been selected. In the event of a tie, multiple stories will be shared.

Please allow up to a week after the competition deadline before you find out if your story makes it into the top three.

Winner are released some point between a week/two weeks after the competition deadline in an email newsletter, but the top three writers are informed in advance if they qualified.

You can win multiple times, however it must be of a different writing style. You can win once for each style per year.
