What is typewrite?
Typewrite is a teen writing hub and literary magazine founded by a young writer for young writers. Typewrite allows young writers to submit their work to a monthly literary contest, vote on other peoples’ work for said contest, receive and give help on their personal work, and use many community resources. Typewrite is especially unique for its community value, and is a crucial tool for all teen writers.

MEET THE CREATORSelvi Radia
As a teen writer myself, I’ve struggled to find literary magazines that provided what I needed.
For example, some had harsh deadlines and requirements, while others only focused on certain writing styles. I needed my Goldilocks literary magazine, so I decided to make my own!
Users can submit their pieces and *hopefully* get selected in the top three by me or my father (entirely unbiased)! After being selected in the top three, the top three stories are published and other users get to VOTE on their favorite story - contributing to the community aspect of this website and part of why it is so unique. While building my very own literary magazine, I also decided to incorporate a space for users to share their own experiences as teen writers, as well as sharing tips and tricks. I think this aspect of the website contributes to what makes it so unique. Teens can also get feedback on their own work!
